Midterm evaluation: Example of a midterm evaluation process in an in-service teacher education course. The students were given a form (1) in advance, and I lead a class discussion based on the questions in the form and took notes, which were later summarized and shared with the students online (2).

This approach promotes dialogue and engagement to a higher degree than previous approaches, and allows for a greater focus on student empowerment, involvement and accountability.
